What I do

I'm an event management professional with 16 years of logistical implementation and strategic planning experience. I work with a wide range of corporate clients and non-profit organizations to achieve individual event goals whether those are focused on marketing, staff recognition, increasing awareness in the community, or fundraising. Whether the scope of the project includes directing everything from concept through execution, or joining the team to manage a single discrete element, I provide the expertise needed to produce a very successful event.

The experience I bring to every event management project

  • Execution of logistics for a variety of events including product launches, golf tournaments, fundraisers, auctions, educational seminars, customer conferences, and tradeshows

  • Production of events in a wide range of venues ranging from small private clubs in Seattle; to convention centers in Seattle, Chicago, and San Francisco; to hotels throughout the country

  • Management of high-level community volunteers at Northwest non-profits including Seattle Symphony, Seattle Chapter of the American Marketing Association, King County Sexual Assault Resource Center, and Overlake Hospital Auxiliaries

  • Experience in a variety of event fundraising mechanisms including corporate partnerships, live and silent auctions, donations made via a table captain model, centerpiece sales, and raise-the-paddle/fund-a-need programs

  • Management of graphic design and print professionals to develop marketing collateral central to the event's theme and goals, and lighting and staging vendors to produce content for educational seminars as well as musical and visual entertainment

  • I am also skilled at integrating quickly into an internal team and determining how to most effectively support the event, fulfill budget management and reporting requirements, and keep the project moving forward to successful completion
